Arapahoe officers are searching for an armed, dangerous suspect in the Centennial jewelry store robbery

DENVER (KDVR) – Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were looking for a man who allegedly robbed a jewelry store on Monday afternoon.

Law enforcement officials said they needed the public’s help in locating a male suspect who robbed the Rocky Mountain Custom Jewelry and Loan in Centennial on Monday around 4 p.m. Officers said he walked into the store, threatened an employee, stole jewelry and then fled on foot.

As of 5:37 p.m., officers had established a perimeter and were searching the area with K-9 units and drones. The suspect was last seen driving westbound in the 7400 block of East Arapahoe Road at South Quebec Street.

Police described the suspect as a Hispanic man in his early 20s with a thin build. Officers said he had dark brown or black hair and was wearing a black baseball cap, a blue jacket, red pants with a white stripe down the sides and a white printed face mask.

Officers also noted that he has a tattoo under his right ear.

The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office said the suspect is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who recognizes or has seen the suspect is asked to call 112 immediately.
