,000, fentanyl and other drugs seized in London drug bust

LONDON, KY (FOX 56) – The Laurel County Drug Interdiction Task Force has seized “a large quantity” of fentanyl, other drugs and tens of thousands of dollars in cash from a London home.

The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office said Friday’s arrest was the result of a months-long investigation.

Around 2 p.m., authorities said they executed a search warrant at a home on Roy Duggar Road.

Inside, they found and seized “a large quantity of fentanyl, meth, assorted pills, drug paraphernalia” and $43,000.

As a result, 47-year-old Jamie Deaton and 31-year-old Alicia Isom were arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance.

Both Deaton and Isom were booked into the Laurel County Correctional Center.
