Five arrested in Chester County for drug trafficking

West Chester, PA- The Chester County District Attorney’s Office has announced the recent arrests of five individuals associated with the Bad Bunny Drug Trafficking Organization (DTO). David Arroyo, Miguel Jorge-Ortiz, Neil Perez and Jose Guzman, all of Philadelphia, were arrested Thursday. Curtis Lake is charged with drug delivery causing death and other related charges to be arrested at a later date.

The arrests followed a year-long investigation into fentanyl trafficking in Philadelphia and Chester counties. On September 13, law enforcement officers executed twelve search warrants at nine locations and three vehicles. This operation resulted in the seizure of 1.5 kilograms of bulk fentanyl, 2 kilograms of bulk cocaine, $25,000 in cash, 2 assault rifles, 3 handguns, and over 1,500 bags of fentanyl.

This investigation began last year after a fentanyl overdose death in Phoenixville Borough involving heroin/fentanyl labeled “Bad Bunny.” The investigation involved several drug dealers, including Mousa Hawa and Herman McMullen, which led to significant seizures with the assistance of the Chester County Detectives HIDTA Unit.
