Ja Morant missed the strangest dunk attempt of the 2024-2025 NBA season

Ja Morant tried to throw down a nice dunk on Wednesday night, but unfortunately for him, the ball somehow went out of the hoop.

The Memphis Grizzlies guard stole the ball from the Brooklyn Nets, sprinted to the hoop and tried to wow the FedExForum crowd with a nice dunk. He spun around in the air so he dropped the ball backwards over his head.

While he was hanging on the edge, the ball somehow bounced out of the net. At first it appeared the ball bounced off his head into the net and popped out, but slow motion video shows the ball appeared to swirl around the net and pop out.
