Newlyweds Ed Westwick And Amy Jackson have announced the wonderful news that they are expecting a baby.

The joyful news was shared on the couple’s respective Instagram accounts, where they looked blissfully in love in a series of beautiful photos as they cradled Amy’s blossoming bump.

To let the photos speak for themselves, the couple did not caption the images; However, their famous friends couldn’t wait to congratulate them and took to the comments section.

Kelly Rutherford, who co-starred with Ed in the cult classic Gossip girl, wrote two love hearts, while Stacey Dooley also added gushing emojis.

While this may be the couple’s first baby together, they are both already in the full swing of parenthood. Ed has an incredibly close relationship with Amy’s five-year-old son Andreas Panayiotou, from a previous relationship, something the Supergirl star has said was a fundamental part of their relationship.

She previously told India Today: “Andreas has known Ed all his life. I think he was two when he was introduced to Ed. We were very good friends. And it’s been a part of his life for as long as he can remember.

“So I think that’s one of the reasons why I love Ed so much. It’s because of the relationship he has with Andreas, and how supportive he is of me as a mother and as a working mother.”

The exciting baby news comes just weeks after the couple’s Hollywood film-worthy wedding in Italy, where little Andreas was Ed’s best man.

On how Andreas reacted to her engagement, Amy added: “He was delighted. It was so funny because I had a ring a few months ago, and it was on this finger.

“And he said, ‘Mommy, aren’t you married?’ And he asked, “Why aren’t you married to Eddie, Mom?” I said, ‘He didn’t ask me,’ and he said, ‘Well, I’m going to tell him.’ I don’t know if that was an encouragement on his part. He gave the green light before Ed probably even had it in his head.”
