Concordia Parish Sheriff's Office looking for 'extremely dangerous' suspect

MONROE, La. (KNOE) – The Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office is looking for a suspect involved in a car chase.

CPSO officials said 36-year-old Vondell Hawkins of Ferriday was involved in an incident in Jonesville that led to a pursuit into Concordia Parish.

Hawkins lost control of his vehicle near the Frogmore Plantation area and then ran away.

Anyone with information on Hawkins’ whereabouts should contact the Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office at (318) 336-5231.

CPSO said the suspect is considered “extremely dangerous” and may have a firearm.
