The Kremlin doubts the impartiality of the US judiciary – Russian politics and diplomacy

MOSCOW, November 1. /TASS/. Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov, while commenting on the lawsuit to be filed by the ANO Dialog against the Federal Bureau of Investigation in a US court for spreading forgeries, said he doubted whether the case would be handled in an impartial and fair manner way would be treated.

“It is safe to assume that American courts will immediately lose their impartiality, balance and fairness in such cases. They will forget these principles. Therefore, there is no great hope for truly unbiased handling of such cases by American courts.” he said in response to a question from TASS.

Previously, the US Department of Justice declined to comment on this matter to TASS.

ANO Dialog CEO Vladimir Tabak told the media on October 31 that his organization would sue the FBI in the state of Pennsylvania for spreading counterfeits. The date for filing the lawsuit will be determined in the near future. The FBI, the US Department of Justice and the Treasury Department accused ANO Dialog of spreading counterfeits on September 4, 2024, according to testimony from an FBI agent.

The US imposed restrictions on ANO Dialog, founded in 2019 by the Moscow government, and its CEO over alleged disinformation measures.
