12-year-old among two youths arrested in armed robbery of 14-year-old in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, Md. – Two juveniles, ages 12 and 14, have been arrested following an armed robbery in the 700 block of E. North Avenue on October 23, 2024.

Officers responded to the scene after a 14-year-old victim reported he was approached by two men who pulled him to the ground, showed a gun and demanded his phone. The victim complied and the suspects fled on foot.

Detectives traced the victim’s phone and found people who matched the descriptions of the suspects. Both young people were arrested and transferred to Youth Booking.

Further investigation revealed that the 12-year-old suspect had been arrested in connection with five previous robberies.
