Kelsey Anderson completely shares her dad’s idea, Mark Andersoncontinuing to hand out roses The golden bachelor.

Kelsey said Mark became friends with 21 of Joan’s other suitors during his trip, and some of them had similar stories to their families. (Kelsey’s mom, Deniseshe died in 2018 after a battle with breast cancer.)

“I know he was very sad when he left because he really appreciated Joan and really cared about her. So I think it was hard for him to leave,” Kelsey said. “But I think he really valued his experience and that he had the best time. He said, “I’ve met 21 best friends.” He had the best time and I think it also helped him grow up a lot, despite the grief.

Even though things weren’t great between Joan and Mark, Kelsey was thrilled, saying she had a “great time” watching her dad on TV – except for watching them lock lips.

“I didn’t want to see him kiss anyone,” Kelsey said Us with laughter. “It’s funny, but I’m sure he had the same experience watching me Single. So it’s all fair.”

For Kelsey, participant Joey Graziadeiseason 28 Single who got engaged to the 29-year-old tennis player in the season finale, and sharing similar dates with her dad was “really cool.”

During a special pop-up event at the Bleecker Street location in Soho, New York, participants will be able to make beads and purchase bracelets with Kelsey while raising awareness and funds for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Anderson also designed a bracelet that will be available October 23-25.

“Through the program, I received a lot of messages about people connected to my story,” Anderson said Us. “I would like it to be something that no one had to identify with. But I also think people find comfort in hearing stories like theirs and seeing that someone can find the light in them. “My mother was a very positive person and always found light in every situation, even when she was going through all these rounds of chemotherapy and radiotherapy and was very sick.”

Anderson said “it breaks her heart a little bit” knowing that “a lot of people” resonate with her story. “It’s nice to think of ways I can help other people,” she said, “even if it’s something like a bracelet.”
