LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Get ready for some rough weather riding! Highs today will be in the mid to upper 70s, but don’t get too comfortable – a cold front will arrive tomorrow that will drop temperatures to a cool 60-65 degrees.

But this is just the first jump on this roller coaster. We return to the mid-70s on Friday, enjoying a brief respite from the cooler temperatures.

However, Saturday will bring another drop in temperature, but this one will be more impactful and long-lasting. We won’t see the warm 70s again until Tuesday, so make the most of Friday’s warmth.

And just when you thought the weather had calmed down, a large system arrives around Halloween, bringing high winds, rain and a significant drop in temperatures. The timing is still uncertain, but it looks like we’re in for a wild ride.
