PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – Police say a 60-year-old Portland man was arrested Saturday for multiple bank robberies in the Portland area.

A woman in Northeast Portland woke up to a stranger hovering over her, and according to court documents, this isn’t the first person this has happened to.

The next day on Saturday, shortly before 1 p.m., police responded to the report of a second robbery at the same credit union, during which the robber displayed a machete.

Officers searched the area.

Meanwhile, police responded to the report of a robbery at another credit union on Southeast 10th Avenue just after 1 p.m. The suspect matched the description of the two other incidents.

After officers worked with both the Northern and Central Districts to search for the suspect, they located and arrested a man matching the description at Southeast 39th Avenue and Southeast Belmont Street.

Once in custody, a police detective determined he was allegedly the same man who robbed a bank on North Williams Avenue on October 19.

No one was injured in any of the robberies.

Fluker was arrested on a parole violation warrant in connection with a first-degree robbery. Additional charges related to the bank robberies could come from the U.S. Attorney’s Office and the FBI.
