Trick Williams reveals the origins of his finisher, Tony D’Angelo wants to work with the FBI

During a recent appearance on “The Happy Hour” podcast, Trick Williams recalled how his Trick Shot finisher came about after accidentally breaking open Ilja Dragunov. He said:

“I would say it was actually by accident. It was Ilja Dragunov-Trick Williams 2. It was just a fight. It was a fight. He hits me in the face, he hits me in the mouth. He tries to inflict so much pain. At this point I’m thinking, ‘I’m going to hurt you. Whatever happens, happens.” The first thing that came to my mind is, “I’m going to put my knee in the middle of his forehead.”

He continued, “I went for it with full force. He did a backflip, his face was bleeding and the crowd went crazy. I thought, ‘This right here should be my new finish.’ I did the spinning Trick kick before, but at that time with Ilja Dragunov, when it came down to it and I wanted to hurt you and inflict as much pain as possible. Placing my knee right in the middle of your forehead seems like a good idea.’”

Tony D’Angelo would like to see the D’Angelo family work with the FBI at some point in the future.

While you’re talking to Sports illustrated To promote tonight’s NXT Halloween Havoc pay-per-view event, D’Angelo expressed his desire to see his faction feud with the Full Blooded Italians. He said:

“I can’t speak for the company in that regard, but selfishly do I want that to happen? Absolute. I think that would be really cool, especially with all the history the FBI has in that building (the 2300 Arena). I think it would be great if the D’Angelo family cooperated with the FBI. We’ll see what Nunzio does. Maybe I’ll call him. I know some guys he works with, so maybe we can put something together.
