The man pulled out a gun and carjacked a Porsche, Fairfield police say

FAIRFIELD, CT (WFSB) – Police investigated a report of an armed carjacking in the area of ​​Walls Dr. and North Benson Rd. on Sunday.

The victim reported they were stopped at a red light when a gray BMW 5 Series with a misused Connecticut license plate cut in front of their Porsche and blocked them, police said.

Police added that a male suspect got out of the passenger side of the BMW, approached the driver of the Porsche and demanded they get out of their car.

They said the suspect pulled out a gun and ordered the driver to open the door and get out of the car.

The victim complied and the suspect got into the Porsche and drove off on I-95N past Exit 22. Police also said the BMW sped behind the Porsche.

Officers determined that the suspect followed the victim from a gas station.

No injuries were reported during the incident.

The suspect is described as a black man in his 20s with a slim build and approximately 6 feet tall. He wore a dark hoodie and sweatpants, along with a mask and sunglasses.

This incident is still under investigation.
