Two arrested in connection with armed robbery of Dubai Jewelry in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) – Two people were arrested last week in connection with the armed robbery of Dubai Jewelry on Nolensville Pike.

According to the jewelry store owner, the robbers almost stole $2 million in gold. The owner explained that two robbers entered the store, one carrying a bouquet of flowers and pretending to be browsing. A third suspect then followed and used a screwdriver to secure the door, preventing it from being locked. The situation quickly escalated, with employees reportedly being sprayed with batons and threatened at gunpoint.

On Sunday, Metro Police reported that 34-year-old Orlando Valdes Hernandez and 38-year-old Milleni Garcia were arrested by Miami Beach police.
