2 men arrested for posing as drivers and robbing customers leaving Miami Beach club – WSVN 7News | Miami News, Weather, Sports

MIAMI BEACH, FL. (WSVN) – Two men have been arrested for posing as drivers and committing multiple robberies in Miami Beach.

Police say Fevry Gentillon and Kerbert Jean targeted drunken patrons leaving the club Twist off Washington and 11th, just blocks from Miami Beach police headquarters.

After arresting the unsuspecting victims, the two men allegedly robbed the victims at gunpoint.

The duo were arrested yesterday and both face several charges including armed robbery, kidnapping and credit card fraud.

This isn’t the only car service serving the beach and elsewhere in Miami.

Earlier this year, Alejandro Yadir Gongora and Estalin Maurad-Avecillas were accused of working together as fake drivers and luring women into their cars to rob and assault them.

Gongora and Maurad-Avecillas were arrested and remain behind bars.

Now two more accused scammers are being locked up and taken off the streets.

According to officers, several people came forward and filed similar reports with investigators, which is when they were able to determine that the duo was working together to target nightclub patrons in the entertainment district.

The duo is expected to appear in court on Friday.

Police are asking people who may have been victims to call.
