ST. LOUIS – Police are investigating after two teenagers were robbed in St. Louis on Thursday. One was attacked while walking home from school, and another was attacked while playing video games at home.

The robberies occurred within a mile of each other, about four hours apart, but they appear to be unrelated, according to crime summaries from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.

The first robbery happened on Thursday around 3:30 p.m. Investigators say a 13-year-old boy was walking home from school in the 1000 block of North Grand Boulevard in St. Louis’ Grand Center neighborhood when he was robbed.

Police say a teenage suspect wearing a ski mask, black jacket and sweatpants approached the victim. The suspect pulled out a gun and demanded the victim’s backpack. The suspect was last seen walking east on North Grand Boulevard.
