3 bicycle thieves arrested in Bokaro

Bokaro: Three members of a gang of vehicle lifters were arrested Saturday on charges of motorcycle theft, police said.
Chas SDPO Praveen Kumar Singh said, “An investigation was launched on the basis of an FIR filed by one Faguni Pathak, whose bike was stolen from Pindrajora police station on October 21. The arrested were identified as Amarendra Goswami, Pappu Singh and Manish Kumar Saw – all residents of Bokaro district. The gang sold the vehicles to coal thieves, creating a network of illegal activities in the area.”
“The suspects are history makers and cases have been registered against them at Jaridih Police Station and City Police Station, among others. A stolen motorcycle was recovered from them,” the SDPO added. TNN

Authorities have recommended relocation, and temporary facilities are planned at a nearby community center until reconstruction takes place.
