Israel has hit Iranian nuclear test sites, satellite images show

The Iranian military has not acknowledged damage at Khojir or Parchin from the Israeli attack early Saturday, although it said the attack killed four Iranian soldiers working in the country’s air defense systems.

Rafael Grossi, the UN nuclear chief, confirmed on social media that “Iran’s nuclear facilities were not affected.”

Behnam Ben Taleblu, an Iran expert and senior fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, said the satellite images were crucial to understanding the actual extent of the damage caused by the strikes.

“It shows that the fact that they did not destroy all the regime’s military capabilities does not mean the attack was ineffective,” he told The Telegraph.

“The attack makes the regime more vulnerable over time and shows that the Israelis can have greater depth in the future,” he added.
