Two interstate impersonators arrested in the city

Ranchi: Two inter-state miscreants who deceived women And elderly by pretending to be hermits were arrested on Sunday, police said.
The arrested were identified as Sagar from Sonipat in Haryana and Ravin Nath from Delhi.
SSP Chandan Kumar Sinha said the suspects, who are visiting Ranchi during the festive season, were staying at a hotel in Khadgadha. They were caught while trying to cheat a woman at Yamuna Apartment in Nivaranpur under Chutia police station. Their modus operandi was to instill fear of misfortune in the minds of their targets.”
The accused duo have confessed their involvement in crimes reported in Sukhdevnagar and Arogora police stations, the SSP added.
The police called on people to inform 112 or the neighborhood control room about criminals. TNN
