Drug bust at Nogales border turns up meth, fentanyl and heroin

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Customs and Border Protection announced two major drug busts at the Nogales Port of Entry.

CBP says the first burglary occurred on October 13.

Officers found more than 650,000 fentanyl pills and nearly 180 pounds of meth hidden in a compartment in the floor of a bus.

The second happened the next day, October 14.

Officers found more than 158,000 fentanyl pills, a pound of heroin and 20 pounds of meth hidden in car doors, seats and speakers.
