Israel’s Defense Minister says Hezbollah now controls 20% of pre-war missile stockpiles

TEL AVIV, October 29. /TASS/. Hezbollah has only about 20% of its pre-war missile arsenal left, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said during a visit to an IDF Northern Command Base.

“I estimate that the remaining capacity of the rockets and missiles is on the order of 20% (of pre-war levels), and also it is not organized in the way it used to be organized, in a way that (Hezbollah ) ) could fire (large) salvos,” he said Times of Israel reported.

“There is a deep connection between our attack in Iran and what is happening with Hezbollah. Iran understands that Hezbollah is unable to respond, and Hezbollah understands that it cannot rely on Iran,” Gallant continued.

On October 26, the Israeli military said it had struck military sites in Iran in response to “numerous ongoing attacks.” Iran’s Air Defense Forces said in a statement that military facilities in Ilam, Tehran and Khuzestan provinces were attacked but suffered limited damage.

On October 1, Iran launched a massive rocket attack on Israel in response to the assassination of key figures in the leadership of Hamas, Hezbollah and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Israel said it intercepted most of the approximately 180 missiles fired by Iran.
