Jaime King’s Ex-Husband Kyle Newman Claims The Actress Was ‘Disconnected’ And ‘Drunk’ With Children In Her Care

Jaime King’s ex-husband, Kyle Newman, reportedly accused the actress of being “strung out” and “drunk” while their children — James Knight, 10, and Leo Thames, 8 — were in her custody.

“Kyle is dealing with a serious situation that affects the safety and well-being of his children and requests privacy for his children during this difficult process,” Newman’s attorney Garry M. Gekht told reporters in a statement Tuesday. Page Six.

Newman, 48, filed a petition in Los Angeles Superior Court on Oct. 23. He claimed that his children were under his ex’s custody on October 17 when he received a phone call from them: according to InTouch weekly. The children were both crying and reportedly asked their father to pick them up, the outlet reported.

Upon arrival, Newman allegedly found King, 45, sitting on the ground and appeared to be “not wearing pants (or perhaps shorts),” according to the filing. She was probably accompanied by two men.

“Jaime looked distressed, tense and acted drunk. She motioned for me to come to her because she was trying to get up but couldn’t stand,” he stated in the court documents, according to the newspaper.

Newman claims King “slurred her words” and allegedly told him about their sons, “They’re bad boys.” We have to do something about our boys. Their behavior is not right.”

He also claimed that his children were wearing the same clothes they had worn to school the day before.

Newman then asked King if she had been drinking, to which she reportedly did not respond. He then left with the children, eventually taking them to school, where one child reported his mother’s behavior to a school therapist.

In the petition, Newman asked the judge to order King to stay away from the children. He also asked for sole physical custody of both children and that King be allowed supervised visitation.

Newman claims his children are deeply disturbed by some of their mother’s comments.

Not only did King allegedly smoke in the house without opening windows or doors while her children were present, according to the complaint, but she also allegedly told her sons that the American Cancer Society’s website was “propaganda” and blew smoke in their faces .

“Jaime apparently told (their son) that she wanted him to ‘come back into her womb and cuddle with her’ so she could be as close to him as possible. He is very disturbed by these comments,” he claimed.
