Cape Girardeau Police investigate armed robbery

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) – Police are investigating a reported armed robbery this weekend.

Officers responded to the 600 block of South Spring St. on Sunday, Oct. 28 around 7:45 p.m.

The victim told them a car approached him and two people got out and pointed guns at him. The victim gave them a backpack containing $200 cash and the suspects got back into the vehicle and left the area.

Police said no injuries were reported and the investigation is continuing.
