While it is difficult to accurately measure levels of organized retail theft in the United States due to variations in data collection criteria, the National Retail Federation says retailers are struggling to cope with persistent shoplifting. Some cities are hit harder than others. In New York City, shoplifting is up 5% compared to last year. Karina Mitchell reports.
