I live between Ireland and the US; Everyday differences between cultures

  • I divided my year between USA and Irelandliving in Atlanta and Cork respectively.
  • My neighborhood in Cork is much more walkable, but I can find it international messages in Atlanta.
  • I don’t drive in Ireland at all, but it’s easy for me to take with me cheap flights to the rest of Europe.

I live there part of the year Atlanta, Georgiaand the remainder in Cork, Ireland.

My husband, a born and bred Irishman, has lived in Cork all his life, but as I do many of my work events in the US I continue to move between the two places.

I love splitting my time between two countries, especially because I get to enjoy the wonderful things each country has to offer. Plus, my husband lives in Ireland, and it doesn’t hurt that the country has one most coveted passports in the world.

My daily life in both places is similar, but there are a few distinct differences.
