50 Cent says Omari Hardwick is too big for his britches, reigniting beef

If you thought the meat was in between “Power” star Omari Hardwick and producer Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson was over… think again. Thanks a recent interview 50 did on Tuesday morning’s episode of “The Breakfast Club,” it looks like the two still aren’t on the same page, as evidenced by the rapper’s new comments.

Specifically, 50 claimed that Hardwick “overvalues himself” and overshadowed his perceived star power and lack of projects he was able to land since leaving “Power” in 2020.

“I think he overvalues himself. Because…it’s been a long time since he was in ‘Power’, why aren’t we excited about the new projects?” 50 partially said.

When co-host Charlamagne Tha God inquired about those new projects, 50 continued, “That’s what I’m talking about. If there was noise, if he had such a big draw, we would see noise, we would see new things happening, we would see you where you are active in a place where they are looking for you.”

If previously reported by The Root50’s words come nearly four months after Hardwick expressed his displeasure with the way “Power” ended during a panel at the Uninterrupted Film Festival in July. (Non-spoiler alert: Hardwick’s main character dies.) At the time, the “Many Men” artist called the actor a “strange bird” in a since-deleted Instagram post and claimed that all his attempts to come through for the actor were unsuccessful in vain.

That aforementioned exchange also came a month later Hardwick revealed how little he was paid while filming the hit show and said he “never made what I should have made” while working with 50.
