DENSO cools down at Show with the latest AC units

With one of the most practical stands at the fair, DENSO was able to showcase the power of its latest air conditioning models on the market.

After trekking to the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Center in the heat, a visit to the DENSO stand at the show provided a breath of fresh air.

As you made your way through the impressive display, you were hit with a gust of cold air from some of the latest air conditioning/HVAC units, cooling you down and providing a sort of ‘try-before-you-buy’ experience.

DENSO business development manager Robert Smart told us ABC this was all part of the plan.

“There’s nothing better than showing people exactly what they stand for,” says Smart.

“We are proud of our products and want customers to experience them first-hand.”

The company has a variety of different models and products on display, from the second generation LD9 electric bus air conditioner and electrostatic air purifier to the 15SF Movincool, ES80 compressor and front heating/cooling unit.

“The LD9 has been developed exclusively for Australia and New Zealand,” says Smart.

Years were spent perfecting the technology to make the unit as light and efficient as possible for manufacturers wanting to transition seamlessly into the electric market.

“Currently there is no competitor for the model and we received an overwhelmingly positive response from everyone who visited the model and saw it for the first time.”

The unit certainly caught the attention of those in attendance, with an influx of orders on the way for DENSO.

“Commitments have been made from a number of operators to switch to the new AC unit as it provides significant energy savings,” he said.

DENSO plans to attend the next show, and while Smart remained tight-lipped about future plans, he hinted that more models will hit the stands soon.

“We will have some new models by the time the show happens,” he says.
