US fast food and beverage company Smoothie King says it has added menu items that should be a good fit for customers taking GLP-1 weight loss medications.

The company says the menu items will contain added protein and no added sugar levels, which will help segments of their customer base achieve their weight loss goals.

Smoothie King said it enlisted the support of a registered dietitian to select formulas for the smoothies that would closely match the goals of GLP-1 diet drug users.
