US elections 2024 live: Harris and Trump make final push to court Latino voters in key states

With less than a week to go until Election Day, Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump campaigned in battleground states Nevada and Arizona on Thursday, aiming to win over Latino voters.

Harris focused on health care, warning that Trump and his allies could dismantle crucial programs if he returns to the White House. She highlighted his past efforts to repeal the Affordable Care Act, or Obamacare, and criticized comments he made at a rally on Wednesday, which she deemed offensive to women.

Trump, in response, denied these claims about Truth Social, insisting, “I never talked about it, never even thought about it.” He made campaign stops in Las Vegas and then joined former Fox News host Tucker Carlson in Arizona.

In Las Vegas, Jennifer Lopez endorsed Harris and praised her commitment to protecting “our freedom, the freedom of immigrants and immigrant families to pursue the American Dream.”
