Niagara police are investigating a robbery at a bank in Niagara Falls

Niagara police are investigating the robbery of two people outside a Niagara Falls Bank of Canada by two male suspects on Tuesday afternoon.

Officers say just before 2 p.m., two people collected Canadian cash from a Royal Bank of Canada at 3499 Portage Rd.

As they left the bank, two unknown suspects reportedly exited a black Ford Mustang GT, approached them and stole their Canadian currency.

Investigators say the suspects were last seen driving west on O’Neil Street in the city of Niagara Falls.

Officers say no one was injured.

Detectives are looking for two black male suspects, both approximately 6 feet tall and each described as having a slim build.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
