Nothing Phone 2a Plus Community Edition has been officially launched in India and brings a unique version of the original Phone 2a Plus, which debuted earlier this year. This limited edition model comes from the Community Edition Project, which launched in March, allowing Nothing’s community to contribute to the design and branding across phases such as hardware aesthetics, wallpaper, packaging and promotional materials. A standout feature is the glow-in-the-dark back panel, covered in green phosphorescent material. It’s more of a collector’s edition than anything else.

Nothing Phone 2a Plus Community Edition: Price and availability

Priced at Rs 29,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, only 1,000 units of this special model will be available for purchase.

Outside India, the Community Edition is available in the UK, Europe, Japan and the US. In comparison, the standard Nothing Phone 2a Plus was launched in India in July, with a similar price for the 12GB + 256GB variant.

Nothing Phone 2a Plus Community Edition: Glow-in-the-dark design

The phone’s design is the result of extensive fan involvement; more than 900 entries from 47 countries helped shape the look of this edition over six months.

The glow-in-the-dark effect on the back panel, together with new wallpaper and updated packaging, give it a distinctive look. Light strips around the rear cameras further enhance the aesthetics.

Additional features include IP54 dust and water resistance, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and a 5,000mAh battery with 50W fast charging and 5W reverse charging capabilities.
