Snoop Dogg releases ‘Gorgeous’ single and UNION LA ‘Missionary’ merchandise

Snoop Dogg has collaborated Jhené Aiko for “Gorgeous,” the first single from his upcoming album Missionarywhich one Dr. Dre is handling. Check it out below.

On Friday, the West Coast rap legend launched the song on streaming platforms, dropping slick bars over a G-Funk-inspired instrumental created by his longtime collaborator, as well as Blu2th, Preach Bal4 and FredWrec. The song will be found on Snoop’s upcoming project Missionary, which is expected to be released on December 13th.

Missionary will be Snoop’s twentieth album overall and first in two years since its release BOD in 2022, following his acquisition of Death Row Records. Dr. Dre leads the way with production alongside contributions from other producers, and it marks the first time Dre and Snoop have collaborated on a full-length album since the latter’s 1993 debut album. Doggy style. Guest features include Eminem, 50 Cent, Jelly Roll, Method Man, Sting, the late Tom Petty and more.

In addition to the release of ‘Gorgeous’, Snoop has announced that he is joining forces with UNION Los Angeles to release a special edition collaboration inspired by Missionary. The collaboration consists of two Missionary x UNION Box Sets including a Union x Snoop t-shirt and Missionary CD.

During a conversation with ComplexDre spoke about working with Snoop again and how “proud” he is of the music they were able to create in the studio. The LA natives first came together on 1992’s “Deep Cover” before Snoop rejoined Dre on “Nuthin’ But a G Thang” and “Fuck With Dre Day.”

“Believe it or not, man, after thirty years, this is the first time we’ve worked on an album in thirty years,” Dre said. “I did Doggy style for him 30 years ago. We’ve done stuff in between, a song here and there, and shows and stuff, but this is the first time in 30 years that we got together and worked on a whole album. I feel like it’s some of the best music I’ve ever made, and I’m really proud of it.”
