Suspect arrested after standoff, Gresham shelter

GRESHAM Ore. (KPTV) – Gresham police were searching for an armed suspect Friday.

The suspect was found and arrested on Friday evening around 7 p.m.

The shelter-in-place order was lifted and traffic is open on Southeast 222nd Drive and Southeast Bohana Park Road.

Gresham police reportedly attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but the car fled and crashed before the driver ran from the car. Police suspected the driver was armed and sent a shelter-in-place order.

In a social media post, Gresham police asked people to avoid the area around 222nd and Bohna Park and Tillstrom and 222nd.
