Police Officer Shot, Another Injured in South Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES – A police officer was shot and a second officer was injured after responding to a report of an alleged robbery South Los Angeles.

Los Angeles Police responded to a call about the alleged robbery near the intersection of East 92nd Street and South Central Avenue on Friday, November 1.

The LAPD officer who was shot was hit in the leg and officials did not indicate how the second officer was injured.

LAPD said the suspect is on the run from the South LA scene. As of 10 p.m., no description of the suspect had been released.
