Pittsfield Police: Three shootings were targeted acts

Pittsfield police are investigating three shootings.

A 34-year-old man was shot Wednesday evening in the 100 block of First Street, they said. Then on Thursday, an 18-year-old man was shot in the 20 block of Pleasant Street, they said.

A few hours later, early Friday morning, there was a reported shooting in that same area, police said. A 37-year-old man arrived at Berkshire Medical Center a short time later.

The victims of all three shootings are expected to survive, police said.

Police believe the victims were all targeted and the public is not in danger, they said.

Police believe the Pleasant Street shootings are related, but are still trying to determine if the First Street shooting is related to the other two, they said.
