Tom Cruise ‘bombs’ the Beckhams to hang out after moving to Florida

Like many busy adults, especially those in Hollywood, Victoria and David Beckham I’ve seen some friendships fade away. They used to think Prince Harry And Meghan Markle good friends, but now their relationship is more of a ‘frenemy’ situationespecially between Meghan and Victoria. While they haven’t completely cut off the Sussexes yet, they aren’t exactly in favor of hanging out with Harry and Meghan either.

This kind of friendship dynamic makes it tricky for the Beckhams to manage another former friend who they tried to reconnect with last year but who wasn’t interested. Now this person is reportedly “bombarding” the Beckhams with requests to meet as he plans to move to one of their neighborhoods in the United States.

Enter Tom Crosswho is apparently eager to rekindle his friendship with the Beckhams as he prepares to move to Florida, where he has a penthouse in Clearwater. The Hollywood star, known for his ties with Scientologyhas a history with the couple dating back to his marriage to Katie Holmes. At the time, Cruise extended a warm welcome to David and Victoria when they first moved to Los Angeles, helping them navigate the celebrity scene.

“Tom is going to spend more time in Florida and visit the Beckhams,” an insider said InTouch weeklyhighlighting Cruise’s determination to reconnect.

However, the Beckhams are reportedly reluctant to return the favor. “They think he’s a bit weird – he has to control every social situation, and they don’t like that!” added the source. When the Beckhams tried to reconnect with Cruise in August 2023,… Mission impossible star reportedly felt one hint of hostilitybelieving that the Beckhams owe him something for his past favors, such as this friendship.

Despite Cruise’s eagerness, the Beckhams keep him at a distance, which makes sense considering his previous attempts to recruit them into the Church of Scientology. Still, Cruise insists, “she bombs and says he can’t wait to hang out,” according to the insider.

“They’re not blowing him away completely,” says the insider. “They have responded once or twice, but they are not committing to anything.”

While the Beckhams didn’t reject Cruise entirely, he did make an appearance Posh’s 50th birthday party last April – they seem content to keep him at bay, at least for now.
