Strictly Come Dancing’s Wynne Evans has fans questioning the show’s twist | Television and radio | Showbiz and TV

Wynne Evans made an unforgettable impression with an unexpected twist in his performance during the latest episode of Come strictly dance.

The BBC At one show, which revolved around Icons Week for the first time ever, the 10 remaining celebrity contestants dazzled the audience with songs from legendary artists.

As a special treat, professional dancers are preparing to give viewers a Beyonce-inspired showstopper, with Johannes Radebe portraying Sasha Fierce in a medley during Sunday’s results programme.

Opera singer Wynne and his dance partner Katya Jones paid tribute to Shirley Bassey with a Rumba set to This is My Life, culminating in a stunningly dramatic finale in which Wynne unexpectedly gave free rein to his operatic talents.

The performance stunned host Tess Daly, who exclaimed: “That blew the hair off the back of my arms, that was something, we know Wynne can sing!” reports the mirror.

Judge Anton Du Beke couldn’t contain his excitement after the routine, praising: “The best ending to a song I’ve ever seen in my life, unbelievable!”

Wynne, who received mixed reviews from the panel, lightheartedly responded with a request, saying, “Can we just pretend it’s a song participant, is that okay?” and later discovered that he had indeed scored a remarkable 30 points.

Fans on Twitter disagreed, with some claiming it’s about dancing and not singing. One viewer commented: “It’s not the X Factor? #Strictly”, while another said: “I didn’t know I was watching ” with someone else’s highlight: “Someone wants to tell Wynn he doesn’t get any points for singing!”

Another fan praised the performance: “I really loved Wynne’s routine and the powerful and inspiring message it gave, not to mention the amazing vocal finish at the end! He should really be proud! #Strictly” and someone Anders exclaimed, “Wynne was amazing! #Strictly!”

In related news, pro dancer Lauren Oakley has hit the dance floor with JLS star J.B. Gill37, after Amy Dowden became unwell during last weekend’s filming.

Amy, 34, is reportedly recovering well after her hospitalization due to health problems that forced her to forfeit last Sunday’s result and take a break from this week’s competition, although she was in the audience to tell them to encourage.
