Ben Affleck calls Jennifer Lopez ‘spectacular’ in new interview

Ben Affleck has recognized the talents of the estranged woman Jennifer Lopez amid the couple’s ongoing separation.

During a video interview next door Matt Damon of Entertainment tonightpublished on Sunday, November 3, Affleck, 52, discussed his upcoming film Unstoppablewhich praises Lopez, 55, who stars in the project.

“Unstoppable is a very different film than this one, but in a way it is also rooted in the passion of truly talented artists. Affleck and Lopez are currently in the process of formally separating after Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck on August 20 after two years of marriage.

Affleck’s public praise for Lopez comes after Lopez recently recognized the couple’s relationship during an interview with Nikki Glaser for Interview magazine that appeared on October 9.

“I think all my life I’ve just tried to say I’m good enough, to where I am now, when I know it. I give myself credit. I say to that little girl who grew up in the Bronx, “You’ve done really well for yourself.” I haven’t done that in so many years,” Lopez told the outlet. “And now I think, with everything that’s happened in my life and in my relationships and even in my career, it’s like you have to give yourself a little bit of comfort and love. We’ve been through a lot of things that no one knows about, and you’ve persevered and you refuse to give up and let it bring you down.”

Lopez added at the time, “There’s something to be said for that, because things can really change your life in a way where you want to give up and say, ‘F– this, this is too hard, I don’t want it.’ don’t do this again.” But I’m not there. I refuse to give myself everything the little girl deserves.”
