Businessman begins installing solar lights in Abia communities, targeting 17 villages with 1,000 poles

A Nigerian businessman, Steven Nwankwo Ukpabi, will install a thousand solar street lights in 17 villages in the region. Abijah.

Steven announced this in a Facebook message on October 29.

Steven said the solar street lighting initiative is part of its Uturu project, adding that 100 poles have been delivered to Nkpakpi.

He said the poles would be delivered to other villages gradually. He shared photos of some solar street lights. He wrote:
