Washington Commanders may have the best rookie class

The Washington commanders The rookie class is led by first-round quarterback Jayden Daniels, but he isn’t the only first-year player making a difference.

Daniels is excited to see all the rookies grow as the season progresses.

“Yeah, I mean it’s great to see everyone coming into their own,” Daniels said. “Some guys are faster than others, so it’s great to see (DT) Johnny (Newton) go out there and make plays. I see they finally gave him his layoff. Well, well deserved. He had a fumble try. (CB) Mikey (Sainristil) is playing really well. But you have guys (like DE) Javontae (Jean-Baptiste) was playing well before he got injured, you have guys who could go out and contribute and help. this team success.”

Part of what the Commanders what makes rookies so successful is the fact that they all support each other.

“Oh, we’re really close,” Daniels said. “I mean, I think we’re just close as a whole team. And we can still grow in that area, but everyone enjoys being together.”

A strong rookie class is often a gauge of how good a team is, and at 6-2 it’s clear Commanders have one of the best in the NFL.
