In the video, Yesenia’s husband can be seen proudly showing off his huge purchase outside Walmart. But things quickly take a turn.

The rest of the video finds the family desperately looking at a stairwell as they try to figure out how to place the Roku TV in the household stairwell.

The last few moments of the video appear to show Yesenia’s husband beginning to unpack the bulky device.

What happened next?

Fortunately, the family was able to resolve the issue without having to return the “too big” TV to Walmart.

In a follow-up video, Yesenia explains that once they took the Roku TV out of the box, they were able to walk down the narrow stairwell.

‘Eventually they took the box off, but before they took the box off I swear they tried hinge It. And it didn’t work,” she tells her viewers.

“Once they took the box off, things went pretty smoothly,” she claims.

Yesenia says she had to mount the TV slightly off-center in the basement TV room because of the stud placement.

“I think it looks pretty good,” she said after showing off the mounted TV.

Is the 98-inch Roku TV a good deal?

The Roku TV is too big for the stairwell (at least in the box). However, is it a good deal?

According to a story The 98-inch Roku, published earlier this month by the Daily Dot, costs $1,498. It features a screen size of 97.5 inches and an aspect ratio of 16:9 with a refresh rate of 60Hz.

For example, a similarly sized Sony Bravia TV costs just under $6,000.

A Reddit user quoted in the article stated: “For watching movies, a 120HZ screen is the minimum I would recommend. Because most movies are shot in 24 fps. If your screen is capped at 60Hz, it will flicker during movies. 60 is not divisible by 24, but 120 is.”

While the Roku offers an impressive size, it may come at the expense of image quality.

The Daily Dot reached out to Roku and Walmart via email for a statement.

Many viewers disdained the quality of the Roku TV.

“That thing had a refresh rate of about 4Hz,” one wrote.

Another commented: “98” which is displayed in 480p.”

And another added: “Do yourself a favor… send it back and treat yourself to an OLED TV.”
