A woman was stuck upside down between rocks for 7 hours after trying to retrieve her phone

(CNN) – An Australian woman had to be rescued after she fell and got stuck upside down between two boulders for seven hours.

The photo shows that only the woman’s feet were visible.

The woman was walking with friends on private property in the rural town of Laguna when she dropped her phone.

She tried to retrieve it, but slipped face first into the crack.

Her friends tried to free her for an hour, but finally gave up and called an ambulance.

Rescuers spent the next several hours removing large boulders to get closer to the woman’s feet and pull her out.

When she was finally freed, she had only minor scratches and bruises.

Unfortunately for her, she didn’t get the phone, which remains trapped between the rocks.
