A Strathspey man pleads guilty to murdering his partner’s mother

A man from the Strathspey Squatting Area yesterday pleaded guilty to murdering the mother of a woman he was in a relationship with four years ago.

Linden Junior Isaacs appeared before Justice Sandil Kissoon in the Demerara High Court and pleaded guilty to the murder of Velma Pickering, who he stabbed multiple times with an ice pick at Vryheid’s Lust on the East Coast of Demerara on May 11, 2020.
