NVIDIA’s Blackwell chips will be available starting in the fourth quarter

Blackwell production is in full swing at Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC).

The global graphics processing unit (GPU) market will be valued at $65.3 billion in 2024.

NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang said Thursday that Blackwell’s cutting-edge chips, which are key to its upcoming graphics processing unit (GPU) architecture, will be available for purchase to customers in the fourth quarter. Production is in full swing at the plants of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC).

Huang was speaking on October 24 at the NVIDIA AI Summit India at the Jio World Convention Center in Mumbai.

Blackwell is expected to deliver breakthrough performance and efficiency solutions to meet growing demands in artificial intelligence, data centers and gaming technologies. The chip is expected to strengthen NVIDIA’s leadership in the GPU market by increasing computing capabilities for high-performance tasks.

According to Statista, the global graphics processing unit (GPU) market is currently worth $65.3 billion in 2024 and is projected to grow to $274.2 billion by 2029, growing at a CAGR of 33.2 percent. Money control report.
