How successful was the 2024 election in Pennsylvania? • PA reflector

All eyes are on Pennsylvania as the tight race between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris enters its final weeks.

Not only will voters in the commonwealth be a key swing state in the presidential race, but they will also choose the next treasurer, auditor general and attorney general – key government positions with authority over Pennsylvania’s finances, law enforcement and more. Additionally, voter choices in House and Senate elections could flip control of one or both houses.

Moreover, Pennsylvania’s election results are likely to be released more slowly than in other swing states and will be subject to intense scrutiny. Election officials are already warning about the potential for disinformation about the results, as Trump and his surrogates have already reignited his baseless claims of fraud in 2020.

To help you understand what happened on Election Day and what comes next, Spotlight PA government editor Katie Meyer will host a live panel on Tuesday, November 12 from 6-7 p.m. on Zoom. We will also answer viewers’ questions.
