This Hollywood A-lister had a heated argument with fans in NYC

Denzel Washington recently, he found himself in a heated confrontation with a group of fans while out in public.

The silly moment took place outside the Museum of Modern Art in New York City on Wednesday during a movie benefit honoring Samuel L. Jackson, where the actor smiled and posed for photos in front of and with fans.

But as he walked in, things went south when someone in the crowd seemed to have crossed the line and kept shouting at the 69-year-old star, repeatedly saying, “Show some love, Denzel.” Show some love.”

At that point, Washington quickly turned and approached the group of fans looking for autographs.

You can’t hear much of the conversation, but in the video, obtained by Fox News digital And TMZWashington was filmed saying, “Put this down. I heard you. You talk about showing love…respect me.”

“We always do that,” one fan responded.

“I said, ‘I’ll see you when I get out.’ What part of that don’t you understand?” Washington asked.

‘Or not, or not! We can do it in a different way. I can do it both ways, you know,” he added before walking inside.

It is currently unclear what moved Washington that led to the heated debate.
