Trump promises to establish a compensation fund for victims of illegal immigrant crime

Former President Donald Trump announced Tuesday that, if elected, his administration would establish a compensation fund to compensate victims of migrant crime, funded from assets seized by the U.S. government from criminal gangs and drug cartels.

Trump stood his ground a Tuesday morning event from Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, hosting mothers of illegal immigrant crime victims.

“Today I am announcing that for the first time under my administration, we will seize the assets of the criminal gangs and drug cartels, and use those assets to establish a compensation fund to compensate victims of migrant smuggling. crime,” Trump said on Tuesday. ‘And the government will help with restitution. Trump exploded Vice President Kamala Harris for her role in the growing migrant crisis at the U.S. southern border, saying she “obliterated our borders.”

Trump reminded attendees that President Biden had named Harris his “border czar.”

“She doesn’t want to use that term, but let’s just say we use different terms – she was responsible for the borders. Fully responsible,” Trump said. “She never once called the Border Patrol.”

The National Border Patrol Council endorsed Trump earlier this month, Trump said, noting that he was “the best president we’ve ever had and by far the best president at the border.”

“They said she was by far the worst person to ever work with them on the border,” Trump said. ‘The most incompetent – ​​the least caring. Trump then played a new video featuring the mother of Jocelyn Nungaray, the 12-year-old girl who was allegedly killed by two illegal immigrants. Trump described her as “a mother whose life has completely destroyed Kamala.”

In the emotional video, Alexis Nungaray recalled her final moments with her daughter and the painful discovery that she had been murdered by two men who were in the US illegally. The men, believed to be associated with a gang known for their brutal violence, had been apprehended but then released by U.S. Border Patrol.

“Kamala Harris was in charge of immigration and our borders,” Nungaray said in the video. “If we had better border policies and not open borders and not this catch and release policy, I really believe this could all have been avoided.”

Nungaray added: “Kamala Harris had one job, and she not only failed me, but failed my daughter as well.”

Nungaray recalled when Trump first approached her and said he gave her his “sincere condolences, not as a former president, but as a father, someone who cares.”

“I believe that Donald Trump should return to power,” she says in the video. “At least I can know that my next child will be safe in this country.”

Trump also hosted Tammy Nobles, the mother of Kayla Hamilton, who was allegedly murdered by an illegal immigrant and MS-13 member from El Salvador.

“She broke it on song after song. They broke it off together. But for the purposes of this election, she broke it. I can’t let her go,” Trump said. “And I’m going to fix it, and I’m going to fix it real quick.”

Trump said regarding the illegal immigrants who will be “taken out of the country” as part of his “mass deportation” operation: if an illegal individual returns to the US, there will be “laws that will be enacted immediately if they serve ten years.” in prison they don’t come back.”

Trump also said that if elected, he would seek the death penalty for any migrant who enters the country and kills a U.S. citizen or law enforcement officer.

Harris will deliver a speech at the Ellipse in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday evening and plans to deliver her closing message to voters.
