I found myself leaning more heavily on favorites this week as I dug into the games. Maybe it’s because we’re seeing more and more separation – or the perception of separation – and buyers and sellers are getting comfortable with the trade deadline less than a week away.

There are some retakes that I tend to be drawn to, and less huge lines than we saw a week ago. I’m waiting for that Broncos game to get greedy and see if Denver gets 10 points. I’m also seriously considering putting Denver on the moneyline. The defense poses many of the same problems for the Ravens as the Browns, especially with the run game. I expect many of these favorites will be bought up and the lines will be moved.
