At least 10 attacks hit the Beirut suburbs of Ghobeiry and Al-Kafaat, the Sayyed Hadi Highway and the area around the Al-Mujtaba complex at dawn on Friday, the official Lebanese News Agency said, after the Israeli army issued evacuation orders for buildings in the region. area.

AFPTV footage showed explosions followed by clouds of smoke echoing in the city’s outskirts after the Israeli army ordered the evacuation of several buildings in the Hezbollah stronghold. “The raids caused massive destruction in the targeted areas as dozens of buildings were razed to the ground, in addition to outbreaks of fires,” the National News Agency (NNA) said.

Friday’s strikes come a day after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with visiting US officials to discuss a possible deal to end the war in Lebanon, with the death toll rising on both sides of the border.
