Pakistan women’s football team will play a friendly match with Saudi Arabia

The Saudi Football Federation has invited the Pakistan women’s football team to play a friendly match in Qatar later in November. Geo news This is what sources from the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) say.

Aiming to promote women’s football in the region, the friendly was due to take place between November 25 and December 7, the official FIFA period for women’s international matches.

According to the sources, Saudi Arabia has contacted the PFF to finalize the arrangements and offered to cover all costs, including Pakistan’s travel and accommodation expenses.

Both teams, who are ranked 158th and 174th respectively in the FIFA women’s rankings ahead of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, are expected to hold a joint training camp in Qatar before the match.

Last year, Pakistan toured Saudi Arabia twice to play women’s football tournaments and showed remarkable skills.

According to sources, the PFF has shown interest in the match and views it as an opportunity to give more international exposure to the Pakistan women’s team.
